A 61-year-old Spencer man has been charged with multiple felonies involving child pornography.
Sidney Lefler, 1515 S. Sallisbury Ave., was arrested following a tip from the SBI.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and Spencer Police arrested Lefler on Dec. 17 following a search of his home.
Investigators located evidence of child pornography on Lefler’s computer.
He was charged with six felony counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $2,500 bond.
