RALEIGH ó Cam Ward made 28 saves, and Matt Cullen had a goal and an assist in the Carolina Hurricanes’ 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers on Saturday night.
Patrick Dwyer and Sergei Samsonov also scored for the Hurricanes.
Cullen gave the Hurricanes a 2-0 lead on an odd-man rush when he beat Clemmensen with a wrist shot.
Samsonov pushed Carolina’s lead to three in the second, taking advantage of a nice cross-ice pass by Tom Kostopoulos.
Rangers 2, Flyers 1
PHILADELPHIA ó Artem Anisimov broke a second-period tie, and Henrik Lundqvist made 36 saves to help the New York Rangers beat Philadelphia 2-1.
The Flyers lost for the 13th time in 16 games, despite outshooting New York 37-24. Chris Drury also scored for New York.
Ducks 4, Coyotes 2
ANAHEIM, Calif. ó Kyle Chipchura scored his first goal since joining Anaheim this month, and Jonas Hiller made 17 of his 39 saves in the first period. Ryan Getzlaf and Mike Brown also scored for the Ducks.

DALLAS ó Defenseman Karlis Skrastins had his first career two-goal game and added an assist to help Dallas end Detroit’s winning streak at four.
Predators 5, Flames 3
CALGARY, Alberta ó Defenseman Cody Franson scored the go-ahead goal in the third period and added an assist for Nashville.
Martin Erat and Marcel Goc each had a goal and two assists, and David Legwand and Dave Scatchard added goals for Nashville, 7-1-2 since losing to Calgary in Nashville on Nov. 30.

BUFFALO, N.Y. ó Marc-Andre Fleury made 31 saves and stopped three more tries in the shootout, and Kris Letang scored the only goal in the tiebreaker in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

UNIONDALE, N.Y. ó Jaroslav Halak made 40 saves for his first shutout of the season.
