Shortly after 9 a.m., rain and sleet began to fall around the area. Predictions range from an mix of sleet and rain to up to 6 inches of snow, depending on the source.
Snow and sleet are falling in Davie County.

Tonight: Rain, snow and sleet before 1 a.m., then rain and sleet between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., then rain and snow after 4 a.m. Low around 33. Breezy, with a northeast wind between 13 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Saturday: Snow, possibly mixed with rain before 1 p.m., then a chance of snow. High near 33. North wind between 5 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Saturday night: A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 39. West wind between 5 and 8 mph.
