Lottery winner stays cool

CHINA GROVE ó Brian Bost, winner of a $1 million prize in the N.C. Education Lottery, was honored this morning at Sandy Ridge Service Station, where he bought the winning ticket.
He’ll get the prize in 20 annual installments, the first of which he’s already received.
“I’m very fortunate,” Bost said.
Lottery officials and reporters greeted Bost, as well as the station owner and the clerk who sold him the ticket.
He shared the story behind winning the ticket, and his decision to wait several weeks to claim it, with reporters and friends.
But Bost said the win wouldn’t change his life.
