A reported theft of $3,000 worth of food from a wedding event at Salisbury Station will apparently be a civil matter.
Salisbury Police were called Saturday night to Salisbury Station, where Marla Eller Lowery reported the theft of leftovers ó including 50 pounds of shrimp.
Police Chief Mark Wilhelm, who worked security at the event, said today he talked with Lowery and it appears the Winston-Salem catering company took the leftovers.
Wilhelm said since it is a civil issue, police will not investigate.
