That’s how Jeff Hahne of Creative Loafing described The New Familiars (selected by Creative Loafing Charlotte as “Best Local Band of 2008.”) They will be bringing their rowdy folk-rock-country blues to Looking Glass Artist Collective Dec. 11.
Opening will be one-man band David Lamanno at 8 p.m. Admission is $6 in advance, $8 at the door.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds are being donated to the construction of Piedmont Players’ Fisher Street Youth Theater – so if you come, you can have a good time for a great cause.
Concessions will be available. No smoking. All ages. Advance tickets available at Tastebuds Coffee and Tea and at the Looking Glass shop.
