Area briefs: South jayvee girls rolling

South Rowan’s jayvee girls basketball team has won its last four games after losing to A.L. Brown on opening night.
Laura Register and Maria Gaddy scored six points each in the 41-31 loss to A.L. Brown in the South gym.
* Gaddy had 17 points in a 46-20 home romp over Central Cabarrus.
* Kaitlyn Jones scored 19 points in a 40-36 win against Robinson.
* Jones scored 17 points while Gaddy had 14 in a 37-31 win at A.L. Brown in the rematch.
* Jones had 18 points in a 32-24 win at Central Cabarrus on Friday.
– West boosters
West Rowan Athletic Boosters will meet in the school library tonight at 6:30 p.m.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
Also, the Booster Club is taking orders for the Christmas BBQ.
Orders need to be in by Dec. 11, and the pickup date is Dec. 22 at the school from 3-6 p.m. at the football stadium.
