Eagle Scout

Joshua D. Bare, 17, will receive his Eagle Scout award today at Luther’s Lutheran Church, Richfield. The presentation will be made by Harold Driver Jr., Scoutmaster of Troop 350, sponsored by Rockwell Civitan Club.

Bare is a son of Doug and Julie Bare of Faith. He is a junior at East Rowan High School, where he is a member and parliamentarian of FFA.

He has earned 25 merit badges and is a member of Order of the Arrow. Bare is assistant senior patrol leader of Troop 350.

For his Eagle project, he organized a blood drive with Rockwell Rural Fire Department.

Bare is an avid deer hunter.
