Air Force Airman James D. Wilson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Wilson, a 2006 graduate of Davie County High School, Mocksville, is the son of Kimmy and stepson of Glenn Cornatzer of Davie St., Cooleemee.

Army Pvt. Jeffrey S. Harris, a 2005 graduate of Davie High School, Mocksville, recently graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Harris is the son of Doni Jennings of Las Vegas, Nev., and grandson of Bonnie Harris of Elmore Road, Mocksville.

Michael S. Hoover has joined the United States Army under the Delayed Entry Program.

Hoover, a 2004 graduate of South Iredell High School, Statesville, he will report to Fort Knox, Ky., for active duty on January 9, 2007.

He is the son of Julie L. Hoover of Cleveland.
