Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department’s Hall Gym, 1400 W. Bank St., is registering for Junior Bobcats Coed and Junior Sting Girls Basketball.

Junior Bobcats Coed Basketball teachers boys and girls ages five and six the fundamentals of basketball as they build character and self esteem, make friends and become a part of a team environment.

Junior Sting Girls Basketball is a competitive girl’s basketball program for girls ages 7-15 that teaches teamwork and fundamental basketball skills.

Practices for both programs are held Monday through Friday from January through April.

Most games are on Saturday mornings.

Registration begins Dec. 18 and goes through Jan. 12, 2007. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. Registration fees are $30 for city residents and $60 for non-city residents.
