Grant Culp graduates from N.C. State University

Grant Culp is a Dec. 20 graduate of N.C. State University in Raleigh. He received a bachelor of science degree in natural resource–economics and management.

A 2001 graduate of East Rowan High School, Culp attended Wingate University before transferring to NCSU in the fall of 2003.

He pledged Farmhouse Fraternity at NCSU and was chapter secretary for one term and president and university board member for two terms. Under his leadership, the fraternity received the 2004-05 Caldwell Cup as the top chapter and was Outstanding Fraternity of the Year in 2005-06.

Son of Philip and Patty Culp of Salisbury, he is construction manager for Culp Brothers Inc. of Gold Hill.
