Good weather puts local folks in giving mood

Published 12:00 am Thursday, December 3, 2009

After four dry days, donations to this year’s Christmas Happiness Fund picked up today, almost doubling the first-day total.

As usual, the individual messages represent a varied mix of the sentiments that stimulate folks to contribute. Remember, no donation is too small, and every penny counts. Just get your pennies in so they can add up to create as many miracles as possible this holiday season.

Bring contributions to the Salisbury Post, 131 W. Innes St., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays or mail them to The Salisbury Post Christmas Happiness Fund, P.O. Box 4639, Salisbury, NC 28145-4639. Make checks payable to the Christmas Happiness Fund and indicate how you wish your donation listed.
