MOCKSVILLE — Free diabetes screening and blood pressure checks will be offered from 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 29 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 261 Cooper Creek Road.

Sponsored by the Mocksville Lions Club, participants should come fasting for 4-6 hours before the checks.
