Carson High School freshman places second at FBLA competition
Kristina Trexler, a freshman at Carson High School, placed second at the recent Southwest Regional Competitive Events for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at Lincolnton High School.
Trexler competed in Word Processing, which included a production/skills test and an objective test. She will advance to the North Carolina State FBLA competition in April to compete against the top three competitors from each of the six state regions.
She is the daughter of Stacey and Melaine Trexler of China Grove.
FBLA is a state and national organization that helps prepare students pursuing job opportunities in business technologies career pathways including accounting and finance, information systems, business management and applications, small business entrepreneurship, business administration and office systems technology.
