Mike Wright of Salisbury has been elected secretary of Appalachian State University’s Yosef Club Advisory Board.

Wright, a 1990 Appalachian graduate, is vice president of wealth management for Smith Barney wealth management firm .

The Yosef Club was chartered in 1972 to solicit contributions from individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations to support scholarships for student-athletes.

Board members assist the Yosef Club director with fundraising activities, support Mountaineer Athletics and assist with Yosef Club sponsored events.
