Wills for Heroes event July 19

The N.C. Bar Association Young Lawyers Division will hold its third Wills for Heroes event 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 19 at the Rowan County Rescue Squad building, 1140 Julian Road.
The last appointment is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Wills for Heroes provides free wills to first responders, including police officers, firefighters and EMTs.
The Salisbury Fire Department is coordinating appointments and can be reached at 704-638-5351. All interested responders must be scheduled and must receive a questionnaire to complete before arriving for their appointment.
Anyone willing to volunteer for the project, including notaries, witnesses, childcare providers or a N.C. licensed attorney to draft wills, should contact Jacquelyn Terrell at 919-677-0561 or jterrell@ncbar.org.
