West Point graduate
Cadet Jonathan Andrew Morgan graduated May 31 from the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, where he concentrated in economics and terrorism studies.
Morgan was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Medical Service Corps branch and will report to Fort Hood, Texas, for his first assignment.
A 2004 graduate of West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Morgan of Manteo and grandson of Shirley Rhinehart of Salisbury and the late Bruce A. Rhinehart.
