Salisbury Police are looking for anyone with information about recent break-ins at several downtown businesses.
“We are investigating a series of break-ins downtown. This is the second night there’s been break-ins,” Police Chief Mark Wilhelm said Thursday.
Someone broke into the Blue Vine on South Main Street, Hardiman’s Furniture store and Rainy Day Bookstore on East Innes Street. Wilhelm said there was an attempted break-in at Frost Bites on South Main Street. The break-ins occurred over a two-night period about a week ago.

Salisbury Emporium, at 230 E. Kerr St., was not broken into recently. Earlier information was incorrect.
