Two Rockwell residents face multiple drug charges

Deputies arrested two Rockwell-area residents Thursday on multiple drug charges, including possession of marijuana and prescription drugs.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Charles David Knear, 45, and Connie Elizabeth Furr, 44, both of 691 Roy Cline Road.
Both face charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver 60 grams of marijuana, 27.5 dosage units of Xanax, eight doses of Darvacet and Hydrocodone.
The pair is also charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, such as digital scales. They also face charges of using their mobile home “for keeping and selling controlled substances, marijuana and Xanax,” according to an arrest warrant from the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.
Knear was placed under a $2,500 bond, while Furr’s bond was set at $2,000.
