Trading Ford group to hold annual picnic

The Trading Ford Historic District Preservation Association will hold its annual picnic at RiverPark ólocally known as “The Bullhole” ó at Cooleemee Falls on the South Yadkin River.
Dinner will begin about 6 p.m., Monday, rain or shine. Come early to play. Bring wading shoes to wade.
Hamburgers, hot dogs and soft drinks will be provided. Please bring a covered dish to share. The picnic is free, and the public is invited.
The program will be provided by Lynn Rumley of the Cooleemee Historical Association.
Directions from Salisbury: Go toward Statesville on Statesville Blvd. U.S. 70 W. Turn right onto N.C. 801, go 6.4 miles, turn left onto Needmore Road. Turn right onto Erwin Temple Church Road (first right), go to the end of the road.
