LEXINGTON ó Three Rowan County men are now in the Davidson County Detention Center and charged with the murder and robbery earlier this month of a Lexington man.
Salisbury Police assisted Saturday morning when officers apprehended Frederick O. Broadway Jr., 20, of Salisbury at the Courtyard Apartments on South Main Street.
The arrest happened about 8 a.m., and police turned Broadway over to Lexington Police.
The other men charged in the shooting death of Brandon Kenyon Ausborne, 26, of Oak Avenue, include Antonio Carpenter, 23, of Salisbury, and Damarious Crawford, 18, of East Spencer.
All three men ó Broadway, Carpenter and Crawford ó face charges of murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Ausborne died from a gunshot to the midsection sometime between 10 p.m. April 13 and 4 a.m. April 14. He was found by his girlfriend at 30 Robbins Circle, Lexington.
