third arrest in neighbor dispute

A third person has been charged in a Sunday dispute between neighbors in Kannapolis.
Johnny Sartain, 37, of 8720 Dogwood Drive, was charged Thursday with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, resisting a police officer and disorderly conduct.
According to information contained in warrants, Sartain attacked Michael Edward Newton Jr. with a lock blade knife, cutting him on his left arm, fingers and nose.
Sartain is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center with bond set at $10,000. He is set to appear in Rowan County District Court on Monday.
Newton Jr. and his father Michael Edward Newton , both of 8040 Dogwood Drive were previously charged in relation to the fight.
