A Spencer teen was charged this morning with felony breaking, entering and larceny after Salisbury Police found him inside Salisbury High School.
Three officers responded to an alarm at the high school around 1:15 a.m. today. They noticed an open window and contacted principal Dr. Windsor Eagle, who came to open the building.
The officers and the principal checked the video security system and saw the suspect in a classroom.
Police found Larry Stevenson Moser, 18, of 112 W. Spring Ave., Spencer, with a bookbag containing five sets of headphones, a box of 3M disks, a crossover media box converter, an APC power conversion kit, two Zire 21 brand palm pilots, a Netgear internet router, a pair of cable router pliers and a soft case with other tools inside.
The value of the items, all belonging to Salisbury High School, was listed at $1,000.
Moser was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $1,000 bond.
