Teen faces drug, weapons charges

A Salisbury teen was charged Friday with felony possession of cocaine and felony possession of a stolen firearm.
Jerry Francies Propst, 16, of 422 E. Cemetery St., was being held under a $10,000 bond.
According to arrest warrants filed at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office, Propst was charged with possession of a Schedule II narcotic and possession of a Colt Model 1911 Gold Cup .45-caliber pistol.
According to warrants, the gun was stolen from Robert Inge.
Propst is scheduled for a first court appearance Tuesday.
