Suspect sought in Salisbury bank heist

Officers with the Salisbury Police Department are searching for a Raleigh man believed to be involved in a January bank robbery at F&M Bank on Avalon Drive.
Charles Edwin Epps, 44, is suspected in several other robberies in Concord, Belmont and Burlington.
In the Salisbury heist, police responded to 102 S. Avalon Drive where a black man wearing pink pants, white tennis shoes, a flowered top and a shoulder-length wig handed the teller a note demanding money.
Similar reports of a man wearing a wig and nurse’s uniform were reported in other areas.
