Suspect sought in Concord bank robbery

CONCORD ó A lone masked man robbed the SunTrust bank at 818 Church St. N. in Concord at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Concord Police officials said a black man entered the bank, walked behind the counter area and demanded money. The suspect had a black mask covering his face and was armed with a handgun. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, possibly driving a white vehicle.
He is described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 to 190 pounds, wearing a black-and-white hooded jacket with a white shirt underneath.
He was also wearing blue jeans and a red or maroon baseball cap.
Police had not announced any arrests or other developments on Thursday.
