The SunTrust bank at 818 Church St. N. in Concord was robbed Wednesday around 2:30 p.m.
Officers described a black male suspect entered the bank and went behind the counter area and demanded money. The suspect had a black mask covering his face and was armed with a handgun. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was possibly operating a white vehicle.
He is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 to 190 pounds, wearing a black and white hooded jacket with a white shirt underneath.
He was also wearing blue jeans and a red or maroon baseball cap.
The suspect was armed with a handgun.
