Catawba Community Music Program
Catawba College Community Music Program will have “Finding the Keys to the Treasure” piano camp this summer.
Discover the clues to unlock creativity and musicianship skills at the piano through music, including themes from the feature films “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “National Treasure.”
For students in grades two through eight.
Students will be grouped according to ability level and will participate in activities including theory, ensemble (duets), repertoire, improvisation and technique. Snack and musical recreation time will also be included.
Four-day camp setting offered Aug. 4-7, Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-noon at the Music Annex on the Catawba College Campus.
Catawba Community Music piano faculty will teach
Tuition: $80 (non-refundable) fee which includes instruction, materials, music and snacks. This amount also includes a $15 registration fee required with the registration form to be submitted no later than July 18; a $65 balance is due by the first day of camp.
Private lessons will also be available to students of all ages and ability levels this summer.
