Stewart fascinated by N.C. Research Campus
KANNAPOLIS ó Martha Stewart is in town until tomorrow morning to learn about nutrition research at the North Carolina Research Campus.
David H. Murdock gave her a tour of the campus Thursday afternoon.
“It’s fascinating to see something happening in such a short time,” Stewart said. “The effort should be applauded.”
Stewart said she plans to take ideas from the research campus back to the her Center for Living at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
“This research is happening in different places across the country,” she said.
John Sedlak, chef at Murdock’s restaurant, 46, is expected to cook for Stewart and Murdock tonight.
