Salisbury’s Community Appearance Commission and the Public Services Department will be sponsoring a Spring Spruce-Up Week from April 14-18.
The Public Services Department will provide special trash collection service through the week. Unwanted appliances and tires without rims will be collected along with additional trash.
Residents are being asked to call Public Services at 704-638-5260 to have their appliances and tires picked up. The additional trash should be placed at the curb on the residents’ regular collection day.
For their own clean-up efforts, groups may pick up large bags and gloves from the Public Services Department at 529 N. Fulton St.
Spring Spruce-Up Week precedes Earth Day, which is April 22.
The Salisbury Community Appearance Commission is encouraging residents and neighborhood and civic groups to celebrate Earth Day by participating in the Spruce-Up Week.
