Get a free health screening, a little attention from a masseuse and learn about the preventive benefits offered by Medicare.
Three local groups are sponsoring a spring health fair Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the J.F. Hurley Family YMCA, 828 Jake Alexander Blvd.
Besides the YMCA, the health fair is co-sponsored by Rowan County Senior Services/SHIP and Rufty-Holmes Senior Center.
The groups are billing the fair as “an educational event to promote a health lifestyle with information on nutrition, fitness and Medicare’s preventive benefits.”
There also will be refreshments and door prizes.
