Slide presentation on Vietnam
“Vietnam … War Time and Today” is the title of a slide presentation by Johnny Overcash scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Chapel Church.
The presentation will include a vintage PowerPoint from the 1960s as well as from his recent trip to experience Vietnam again with his two sons.
Overcash, formerly of China Grove, was a Green Beret who completed three tours of duty and obtained the rank of major before leaving the Army. He and his wife, Judy, have six children and now live in Georgia.
