The Public Services Department of the city of Salisbury announced today that the Shober (Ellis Street) Bridge will be closed Tuesday for repairs.
City crews will install new deck boards to the bridge’s pedestrian walkway. Sidewalk repairs also will take place. The bridge goes over the east-west railroad tracks.
All work should be completed during the day, and the bridge is scheduled to reopen to vehicles by 4 p.m. Tuesday.
