Salisbury man faces drug charges
A Salisbury man was placed under $50,000 secured bond after being arrrested Tuesday on three drug charges.
Jorge Isreal Torres, 27, of 3130 N.C. 152 East was charged with possessing with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver 8 ounces of cocaine; maintaining a residence at 405 N. Main St., Apt. 4, China Grove for keeping and selling cocaine; and trafficking in cocaine, according to Rowan County Sheriff’s Department arrest reports.
All of the offenses are alleged to have occurred Jan. 3.
Torres is scheduled for a first-appearance hearing today in Rowan County District Court.
