A Salisbury man faces sex-offense charges.
Edesio Romero, 37, of 159 Langley Drive is charged with three counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. All three offenses are alleged to have occurred in July 2007, according to arrest reports.
Romero was placed under $40,000 bond pending a first-appearance hearing today in Rowan County District Court.
In an unrelated case, Timothy Joseph Kirkley, 23, of 212 Fairson Ave., Apt. A, Salisbury, was charged with failure to appear for failing to register as a sex offender, according to an arrest report. He was placed under $15,000 bond pending an appearance in the next session of Rowan Superior Court.
