A Salisbury man has been charged with possessing marijuana after Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies searched his home.
Gilbert Lamar Hailey, 37, of 170 Ryan St., was present when deputies searched his home. They found and seized approximately 50 grams of marijuana, digital scales and $111.
Hailey was charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $2,500 secured bond, pending a first appearance in court Thursday.
