Rowan Services Inc. has sold The Meadows of Rockwell property for $5 million to the Ritchie Farm Trust, according to a deed filed March 28 in the Register of Deeds office.
The retirement home business at 612 N.C. 152 has been open for two decades and wasn’t part of the deal involving the 3.87-acre parcel.
Steve Staton of Rowan Services said it was a real estate sale, but operation of the retirement home won’t change.
Chip Bridges, the attorney who handled the transaction for the new owners, said they didn’t want to be identified and echoed the fact that the retirement home management will remain unchanged.
