Rowan-Salisbury Schools are closed today for students, but are operating under code B (optional for teachers) due to the rapidly changing weather conditions.

The make up day will be Thursday, January 22.

East Rowan YMCA is closed today.
Office of Dr. J.N. Holmes & Assoc., 221 Jake Alexander Blvd. closed Tuesday due to inclement weather. Will contact patients later for rescheduling.
Master Stephen Condrey’s Martial Arts will be Closed tonight due to bad weather conditions.
Tuesday’s garbage and yard waste service in Kannapolis has been cancelled due to inclement weather. Tuesday’s collection will begin Wednesday. Collection will likely run a day behind schedule, but residents should put out their bins on their regularly scheduled day for the remainder of the week.
Due to limited staffing because of the threat of inclement weather, the following library branches will close at 5:30 p.m. today:
Kannapolis branch of the Cabarrus County Public Library
Mount Pleasant branch of the Cabarrus County Public Library
