Rowan Regional Medical Center unveiled its new logo this week under the Novant Health brand. Rowan Regional’s Board of Directors approved the new logo at its Jan. 30 meeting.
“The sunburst will go away, but we at Rowan Regional Medical Center are still committed to excellence in healthcare,” said Chuck Elliott, Rowan Regional CEO. “In fact, the mission of Novant Health facilities is to improve the health of our communities one person at a time, through delivering the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time,” he added.
The new logo consists of a green “delicate arch” over Rowan Regional Medical Center. The arch shape signifies all encompassing care. Green is the color of healing, and in ancient cultures it represented medicine. It also is the color of “good citizens” and “community pillars.”Over the next few months, the arch will be incorporated into Rowan Regional Medical Center marketing material and signage.
Rowan Regional Medical Center is the third-largest healthcare facility in the Novant Health system, behind Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem and Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
