N.C. Rep. Lorene Coates will be the guest speaker at a luncheon Tuesday at the Tower of Power Holy Church, 601 E. Cemetery St.
Coates, a Democrat from Salisbury, is seeking re-election to the 77th N.C. House District. Her challenger is Republican Dr. Ada Fisher.
The Senior Democrats organization is hosting the event.
