Looking for a great way to surprise your children and offer a subtle reminder from Santa Claus to be on their best behavior from now until Christmas?
The city of Salisbury’s 2010 Relay for Life Team is sponsoring “Visits with Santa” as a holiday fundraiser. Visits will begin Wednesday night and will be held again on Friday, Dec. 11, and Monday, Dec. 14, from 6 p.m. until. There are still slots available for each night.
For a $20 donation to Rowan County Relay for Life, you will receive a quick family visit from Santa in your home. He will be distributing North Pole candy canes, and parents who choose to may leave gifts for children at a designated location such as in the mailbox or outside the front door for him to deliver to them personally.
Parents may also provide children’s names and information about them for Santa to mention when they call to schedule the visit. Contact Niki Castor in the city of Salisbury’s Public Services Administration at 704-638-2098 to have Santa come to your house.
Payment is due at time of booking, and 100 percent of all proceeds will go to the city’s 2010 Relay for Life fundraising efforts.
