Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer a pharmacy technician training course Aug. 19-Dec. 16.
The class will meet 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays in Building 100, Room 100, on RCCC’s North Campus in Salisbury. There is a registration fee of $65, with text books costing approximately $150.
Students must have a high school diploma or GED and complete a career readiness assessment at the college. This should be scheduled no later than Aug. 4 by calling 704-216-7212.
The course trains students to work as assistants to a licensed pharmacist in both retail and hospital settings.
