Residents have only one more day to put their name in the running for a seat on the Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education.
The filing deadline is Friday at noon. Filing began July 18.
Seats for the east, southeast and Salisbury districts are up for grabs.
So far, only the three incumbents have filed. Dr. Jim Emerson, Linda Freeze and Bryce Beard threw their names in the hat last month.
