Three Rowan County men have been charged with murder in the death of Brandon Kenyon Ausborne in Lexington.
On Thursday, the Lexington Police Department, N.C. State Bureau of Investigation, district attorney’s office, Salisbury Police Department and Rowan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rodney A. Carpenter of Salisbury and Damarious Crawford of East Spencer for the murder of Ausborne.
Police are still searching Rowan County for Frederick Oneal Broadway Jr. of Spencer.
Ausborne’s body was found at 30 Robbins Circle last Sunday.
Carpenter, 23, of 312 Harrel St., Salisbury, was charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Crawford, 17, of 203 Torbush Drive, East Spencer, was charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Broadway, 20, of 407 S. Rowan Ave, Spencer, is still at large. He is charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
