Colleen S. Barber
Colleen Spry Barber, 76, formerly of Kannapolis, died March 11, 2008, at Universal Health Care, Concord.
Born April 14, 1931, Mrs. Barber was a daughter of the late Dewey W. and Viola Shoaf Spry.
She worked in Cannon Mills’ Payroll Department for more than 35 years and later as a nursing assistant at Cabarrus Hospital. She was a member of West Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Franklin O’Dell Barber, Kannapolis.
A service was held Friday, March 14, 2008, at Lady’s Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Blair Bridle. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
