No one injured in East Spencer fire

EAST SPENCER ó Firefighters from several departments responded to a house fire at 108 Grant St. late Sunday night.
The fire at the single-story home, near Weant Street Apartments, was reported under control at 11:50 p.m. Emergency personnel first received notice of the fire about 11:18 p.m.
East Spencer, Miller’s Ferry, Salisbury and Union departments were among the departments called, along with the Rowan Rescue Squad.
The first unit on the scene at 11:23 p.m. reported smoke was visible in the structure.
No one was reported injured.
Firefighters were using thermal imaging cameras to make sure no hot spots were left in the structure.
The Rowan County Fire Marshal’s Office was called in to investigate.
No other details were available Sunday night.
