Hunter Shue
Army National Guard Pfc. Hunter M. Shue has been named Soldier of the Week.
Selection was based on the individual’s exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, significant self-improvement, specific achievements, notable accomplishments, and community service and support.
Shue, an AH-64 attack helicopter repairer, is assigned to the 1st Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment, Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
He is the son of Linda H. Eller and Mark W. Shue, both of Gold Hill.
The private graduated in 2005 from East Rowan High School.
Randall Bradley
Randall P. Bradley recently graduated in May from Marine Boot Camp at Parris Island, S.C. where he earned his eagle, globe and anchor. He was in “M” Co., third BN.
He then went to Camp Geiger, N.C. to MCT school and graduated June 17, 2008. He has now gone to his MOS school.
Bradley was a 2007 graduate of North Rowan High School. He is the son of Allen and Sandra Bradley.
