Jeremy Baines
Air Force Airman Jeremy R. Baines has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, he studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of William and Donna Moss of Salisbury, and a 2005 graduate of Salisbury High School.
Normandy tour
The Fraternal Military Association of the U.S.A. will tour the Normandy Invasion beaches: London, Bastogne, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and more. They are departing from New York June 17, 2008.
Current and past military personnel, dependents, friends, plus the general public are invited to participate in this journey to commemorate the 64th anniversary of D-Day-June 6, 1944.

Stevens is a 2004 graduate of Salisbury High School.
