Hospital Corpsman First Class Gregory Z. Boling was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal by the the Department of the Navy for the second consecutive year.
Boling was recognized for professional achievement as leading petty officer for the operational health support unit, Camp Lejeune Detachment Alpha, Charlotte, from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2006. He was selected Reserve Sailor of the Year for 2006 at the Navy Operational Support Center, Charlotte. The recognition was based on increased initiative, leadership, and efficiency in the operation of the hospital’s sick bay.

Army Pvt. Quatichia Law has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
Law is the daughter of Robert Law of Fayetteville, and LaRose Law, Kannapolis. She is a 2002 graduate of A.L. Brown High School, Kannapolis.

A 1978 from West Rowan High School, Mount Ulla, Carr received a bachelor’s degree in 1992 from Columbia College, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He earned a master’s degree in 2001 from Webster University, Fort Bragg.
