Staff report
An O’Charley’s employee got more than she expected when she arrived early to work Monday.
The employee was sitting in the parking lot just before 10:30 a.m. applying makeup when she noticed a tan pickup in the parking lot.
According to Salisbury Police reports, a man got out of the truck wearing only a yellow T-shirt. He pulled on the tailgate latch and waved her to come over.
The employee used her cell phone to call for help. The man got into his truck and drove away, heading toward Arlington Street.
It was not long before a police officer pulled over Kevin Head, 31, of 128 Cypress Lane, Salisbury, near Rowan Mill Road. By then, police say, Head had put his clothes back on.
He was charged with indecent exposure. According to the report, Head told police that what he did was stupid.
He was released from the Rowan County jail after posting $1,000 bond.
